This silicone nitride ceramic can have an outer diameter of 300mm and a typical height of 5mm within which any rectangular or customized shape or opening is possible. It has low mass allowing fast heating rates, outstanding and precise control, and uniform temperature distribution.

Due to its low thermal expansion the surface of this ceramic remains flat even during rigorous temperature fluctuations unlike the metal ones. The high strength of the hot-pressed silicon nitride makes it highly stress and wear resistant such as with high pressure loads. Although it is equipped with hot plates for open air operation at up to 500 ?C, with proper technical solutions a temperature of up to 1000 ?C can also be achieved. However, its service life is limited with continuous operation at temperatures below 900 ?C.
